I would like to take a moment to welcome Deputydawg and and Dexlonghair....a couple of Dragon's friends and experienced WoW players...nice to have ya. If I have missed someone I am sorry, and I welcome you also :D

All 70 Mains I believe now have the Kara keys, that is just fantastic!!! Now we should have enough to attempt Kara

If you know a Holy Priest, ask them if they would like to join us!!! But please don't poach other guilds...if the topic comes up, then ask ;)

This is also a good time to work on any gear that may need some help, it is recommended to have at least all 70 Blue's for Kara....This shouldn't be to hard to do as long as we work together.

Two "Must Have" add-on's

I cannot strongly enough suggest that as a member of lionheart you download and install the following addon's

KTM Threat Meter
GEM (Guild Event Manager)

KTM Threat will give you a GUI view of how much threat your generating, and (should the need arise) how much threat the MainTank needs to gain in order to hold aggro. This is a must have for all classes, since it will warn you (if your paying attention) to slow your DPS or healing if your starting to draw aggro off the main tank.

GEM - Is an in-game calander program that will allow us to schedule event runs (like instance's and eventually raids). That way we'll have a system to know who will be going to a scheduled event.

When you download GEM you'll need to click on the Options tab, add the channel "liongem" and the password "lion123" then delete the default channel.

Viola!

Both add-on's are obtained from the Curse Gaming website (use google).

Hello all,

Now that I'm back in action I thought I would toss out a thread here on the website so that if we have any aspiring Paladin's join (or being created) there was some form of guidance...

First place I would think about visiting is: http://www.wowwiki.com/Paladin_builds

This is a good starting point to read about some of the different options you have for playing your pally. Being a hybrid class, we're meant to serve many rolls in groups, and many times will be required to change that roll "on the fly" when the situation warrents.

Another good site to visit is the "master loot guide" located at: http://www.wow-loot.com/paladin.htm

This site will give you a good idea on the types of items you should be rolling for when loot drops, based of course on the type of pally you want to play.

Since we are a hybrid class, you have many options to choose from, some of the more popular builds have been "Healadin" AKA Priest in Plate, and "Retribution" basically a PVP build, but can be very effective in groups if played correctly.

As for myself, I'm choosing a modified version of the "Survivadin", as I see this build being a good off-healer/off-tank build. The idea, of course, is to outlast the enemy. Given the right gear, I could also see Cathmer being used in the roll of main tank or main healer in some groups, depending on the makeup of the group.

Lionheart Guild bank is Now Open!!!

The Guild Bank is available for fellow guildy’s only, and will be used to help further our progression through the game.

The gold accumulated will be used for contests, to buy goods or items that may be needed when it comes to having potions, gear, etc… made that would be needed for the high level instances.

“Most” items are available to the guild at a first come first serve basis and at managers discression.

Some items may not be available for players as they may be needed to help the Guild as a whole to further ourselves towards end-game. Example: Herbs, Primals etc…

Please Donate!!! Nothing will be turned down:
Grey Items can be sold
Will keep limited supply's of any level item such as cloth as room permits.
Green Items can be auctioned or DE’d
Blue item’s can be saved for guildies as there levels progress.

Basic Rules for the Guild Bank:
Must use item’s received from bank for intended purposes
Must be active in donating to the bank…anything will do
Must be of level to use item…such as Books, Recipes, Armor etc…

Remember…this is for all…and I will update the information almost everyday…when we are all 70 “We will be prepared!” :D

We are in need of a few good players to fill the main assignments of the following classes: Warlock, Shaman and Paladin.

We do prefer 60+ but it is not necessary.
Must be mature (in attitude) and can play well with others.

Creating a User Account for Lionheart Guild Members!!!

Steps to use to make creating a user account for this website for current guildy's.

1. You need to click on "Apply to Guild" link at left of page. Fill in the information requested. IMPORTANT!! When it asks for your password, please use the launch code provided in the "Guild Info" in game when setting up your account so that it will be created immediately.

You can change it later after initial creation.

2. Choose your character(s) from the "Guild Roster" tab at top of page. You do this by clicking the link above, and you will find a list of members.
When you see your character, click on the "Claim" link to the far right of page and that character will automatically be part of your account.

Welcome and thank you for hosting your guild with Guild Launch!

This post is intended to orient you to the major features of Guild Launch guild hosting.

Guild Creator Special Status
The guild creator is automatically added to the guild and cannot have any rights taken away nor can the guild admin be deleted from the guild.

How to Add Users to Your Guild
There are two ways a user can join your guild.

1. Using a Launch Code
2. The application process

Regardless of which process they use every member must create a Guild Launch account and submit the application.
The Launch Code just allows the user to be added to the guild and bypass the 'acceptance' step in the application process.

Existing Members
The best way to get existing members into your guild is to use a Launch Code.
A Launch Code is a password that allows an applicant to skip the application process
and automatically join the guild. If the user does not use a launch code their application
will have to be approved by a guild admin.

New Members
New members can use a launch code, if you give it to them, or they can go through the application
process. If they go through the application process then their membership will have to be approved
by a guild admin.

The full process to get someone into the guild through the application process is:
1. Go to your guildsite URL. That is the URL in the browser window starting with "http://".
2. Click the "Apply to Guild" link on the left side.
2a. If the user already has an account you will see the application form.
2b. If the user does not have an account they will be able to create an account, confirm the email, and then
click "Apply to Guild" again.
3. Submit the application.
4. The application will appear on the guild's Approve Applications area of the MEMBERS tab in the Guild Admin area.
5. The guild admin must approve the application.
5a. (Optional) If the member is an officer or you have created other security groups then add them to the
Officer group when you accept them so they can see the officer forum.
6. You are now a member of the guild!

Guild Announcements
This post is a guild announcement, a unique feature of Guild Launch which allows you to make posts in your forums and have them appear on your homepage. You can edit the announcement settings by clicking on the admin link in the upper right corner and navigating to the COMMUNICATION Tab.

Once there you can turn this feature off or change the number of posts to show, set a date range, etc. If you would like to just remove this post you can get to it by going to the "News" forum or clicking the "(View Post)" link. Once you are at the post you can delete this post outright, or you can choose to make it a regular post as opposed to an announcement.

How to Change Templates
We hope you like our default template, but many guilds want their own identitiy. If you would like to change your template go to the admin area from the top right and then click on CONTENT OPTIONS then click on "Change Site Template" on the left navigation. A page will load with a dropdown that lets you browse the available templates. When you see one that you like click "Set" and that will become your guild's template.

Forums
We have created the following forums for you as a starting point:

News - Where this post is posted. An admin can delete or modify this post or add new ones.
Member Discsussion - This a forum that only guild members can post in.
Officer Discussion - This is a forum that only members of the "Officers" security group can post in. When a new guild is created the only member of the officer group (and the only member of the guild in fact) is the guild creator.
